How does it work?

Shower Pouch erases the smell left behind from your body's natural tendency to sweat.  With spa-inspired fragrances, it delivers cleansing botanicals to moisturize your skin and leave you feeling "shower" fresh.        

Is Shower Pouch recyclable?  Why isn't it biodegradable?  

The cloth material is recyclable since it is a 100% Polypropylene non woven material  .  You will have to contact your local recycling center to learn if they have the ability to manage materials like our cloth.  The pouch material that holds the cloth is not recyclable since it is a multi-laminated metal pouch. The high barrier film would need to be disposed of in your standard waste stream.  

Our cloth material isn't biodegradable. This was by design. As an avid outdoorsman, you are taught to pack-out what you brought in.  Not to introduce "biodegradable" trash into a delicate ecosystem that relies on a balance between bacteria, plants, insects, and animals.  Leave no trace behind! In addition, we ADVOCATE that you repurpose your wipe after you're done. Throw it in the washer machine and repurpose the cloth again  (e.g. to wash your dishes, to wash your vehicle, to clean your bathroom and etc.)  

Are those dry spots on my cloth?

When our cloth material reaches its maximum absorbency from the formula, the material darkens slightly.  The contrast between the darker areas vs. the bright white areas can give the appearance that the white spots on the cloth are dry. This is not true!  The "light areas" are in fact very wet.  Through R&D testing, we determined anything beyond our target fill (formula) can cause our 2' x 1' cloth to begin dripping product when pulled out the pouch.  We considered this "dripping" attribute a poor consumer experience.  Therefore, your pouch will have the maximum amount of formula to clean you from head to toe while not spilling formula all around you.

When will my package get delivered? 

We do our best to ship your package out next day.  However, our standard processing time for orders is 48 hours.  Once shipped, delivery time within the United States is 3-6 days and 10-21 business days internationally. A tracking number will always be provided for each order within 48 hours.  We do not offer expedited shipping at this time. All orders are shipped via USPS. Please note, we are not responsible for any shipping deliveries that may be affected by, but not limited to, the following: customs (international orders), natural occurrences, air/ground transportation strikes/delays or transfers from USPS to international mail carriers.

What is Shower Pouch made with?

Ingredients:  Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Phenoxyethanol, Witch Hazel Water, Organic White Willow Bark Extract, Tea Tree Leaf Oil, Menthol, Polysorbate 20, Organic Alcohol, Tetrasodium EDTA.

The cloth is a polymer non-wooven material.

The pouch material is a metal laminate structure to help preserve the formula.  

How long does Showerpouch last if unopened? 

3+ years. We stopped our accelerated stability test and maintained 100% of the original gram weight.  No noticeable measured weight loss.  

Is Showerpouch gender specific?

No, the spa-inspired fragrances were designed to be gender neutral.  

I have sensitive skin.  

Shower Pouch is safe for all skin types. The Unscented formula is lacking fragrance.  It is considered our "sensitive skin" formula.  In case you may be allergic, please test on a small patch of skin to determine if you are susceptible to an allergic reaction.  

Is Shower Pouch safe for children?  Am I at risk of having an allergic reaction?  

Shower Pouch is safe for children, teens, and adults.  Children should be supervised to ensure the product is kept away from the eye area.  In case you may be allergic, please test on a small patch of skin to determine if you are susceptible to an allergic reaction.  

Why are there only 3 scents?

The three fragrances (Bamboo, Citrus, and Cucumber) are gender neutral.  They smell like a cross between heaven and perfection.  There is actually a fourth scent (un-fragranced), this is the perfect scent because you provide it!  But please note that the "unscented" Showerpouch contains organic ingredients that have a pleasant natural scent, even when there is no added fragrance. 

Why does the size of the wipe matter? 

It's the perfect size to clean your entire body.  We spent over a year researching different sizes and fabric materials.  Only this custom size made the cut. 

Where are your wipes manufactured?

We are proud to say that these wipes are manufactured in "The City of Angels" - Los Angeles, California. Manufacturing our product in the USA allows us to provide a far superior quality wipe.

How can Shower Pouch make a claim that it is a Vegan formula? Is it only for people with a vegan lifestyle?

Before we can answer that.  Listed below are examples of non-vegan ingredients that are used in some common skincare/cosmetic products:

  • Beeswax (aka cera alba, cera lava). 
This is the wax from a bee’s hive. Bees must consume six or more pounds of honey in order to create one pound of wax. It is created by either being secreted by worker honeybees from four pairs of glands on the underside of their abdomens, or by secreting droplets of wax called “scales.” It can be found in many forms of makeup, from eye shadow to foundation to lipstick.
  • Carmine (aka cochineal, cochineal extract, crimson lake, natural red 4, C.I. 75470, E120, carminic acid)
This deep red color is taken from crushed cochineal insects. The color is extracted from the insect’s body and eggs. It is a very common colorant in lipsticks and blushes.
    • Collagen

    This is a protein that is naturally produced in the bodies of animals. In order to extract the protein, collagen is taken from dead animals by cooking cartilaginous animal materials, such as bones, connective tissues, and skin. Collagen is typically used because of its temporary plumping or firming effect and can be found in lotions, creams or lipsticks.

    • Guanine (aka CI 75170)
    Guanine is fish scales that have been scraped off dead fish. It is then soaked in alcohol to create a pearly essence that is added to products. In mainstream cosmetics, you can find it in the sparkles of your products such as blush, eye shadow, and nail polish.
      • Keratin
      This is another protein found in mammals. It comes from hair, nails, and horns of animals. It is often found in hair products.
      • Lanolin

      This fat is derived from the grease in a sheep’s hair and is a product of the wool industry. It is most often found in lotions and lip balms.

        • Squalane

        This ingredient can be made from squeezing oil from the liver of a shark. You can find it in all sorts of moisturizers and cosmetics.

          Net: We believe that plant-based ingredients are superior alternatives to harsh chemicals or animal-infused ingredients. Vegan plant-based ingredients have beneficial properties that can heal, soothe, and be gentle on the skin. We care about our customer's skin so we decided to offer the best possible ingredients to our clients. 

          "Vegan" is a conscious lifestyle decision that we believe in.  It is also the centerpiece for creating a 91% organic formula. We understand that the natural skin care consumer cares about the environment and what they put on and inside their bodies. 

          Shower Pouch is also proud to say that it has never tested on animals.  In addition, we only work with “Leaping Bunny” certified facilities for all of our ingredients. 

          How can Shower Pouch help save you time and money?  

          The average shower time is about 30 mins (minimum wage at $10) = $5.00 just in your time alone.  A typical shower head uses ~2 gallons a minute = ~30 gallons of water for a 15-minute shower. Shower Pouch cost $5 and takes 5 minutes or less to freshen your entire body. 

          Why can’t I just buy one Shower Pouch online?

          Although not available online.  Shower Pouch will be made available at limited Athletic Studio locations, via display cases, and at live events for single unit purchases. 

          Why is the wipe made with alcohol?  Will alcohol dry my skin?

          No, our consumer test results demonstrated that following the use of Shower Pouch their skin felt clean and moisturized.

          Skin care products must be preserved and alcohol helps prevent microbial growth in the product while cleansing the skin.  Shower Pouch is made up of a combination of moisturizing oils and juices (e.g. aloe vera juice) which significantly dilutes the alcohol.
