Shower Pouch was born from two very personal journeys, those of cofounders Michael Houston and Omar Jimenez, who saw a simple but important need. To feel truly clean when showers aren’t an option.

For Michael, it began in 2012 when his father, a retired Naval officer deployed in Afghanistan, asked if he could create something better than baby wipes, since soldiers had limited options to stay clean without access to a shower. For Omar, it was about caring for his mom in hospice, where standard hospital hygiene solutions just weren’t good enough.

Both moments pointed to the same gap. So together, they set out to design a full body wipe that actually felt like a shower. In 2016, Shower Pouch launched DTC.

The mission has never changed: empowering people, from outdoor adventurers and service members to caregivers and everyday users, with a simple, effective way to feel confident wherever life takes them. Because everyone deserves to feel fresh.
